A sustainable relationship between humanity and nature can only be achieved through the responsible stewardship of our planet’s resources. To this end, the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation collaborates with a diverse array of partners to address the most pressing environmental issues of our time, including deforestation, climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.
Central to our mission is the pursuit of enduring, transformative outcomes. We strive to champion initiatives that not only safeguard existing ecosystems and combat the immediate ramifications of climate change but also invest in human development and educational endeavours. By teaching people how to have a more symbiotic relationship with their environment, we aim to secure the vitality of ecosystems for generations to come.
Our environmental efforts are currently concentrated in key regions such as East Africa, the Western Balkans, Southern Europe, the Amazon and North America. These areas harbour uniquely diverse ecosystems, presenting unparalleled opportunities for catalysing impactful change.
